Yogurt Dip With Twist





Yogurt Dip With Twist, Is a creamy and healthy dip, and can be replaced with sour cream dip.  The inspiration behind this recipe is coming from my polish friend Anna. I modified her recipe a bit to suit my indian taste. I am using Dil in this recipe, you can replace with any herb of your taste. I hope you all will enjoy this with kababs, pita bread, falafels. 


Ingredients:

1 Cup Greek Yogurt (Hung Curd)
1 tbsp finely chopped Dil
1/2 tsp Paprika Powder
1 tsp Lime Juice
1 Garlic Clove finely chopped
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp Salt


Process:

1) Whisk greek yogurt a bit to make a smooth dip consistency. 

2) Put Dil, Garlic, Lime Juice, Salt, Paprika Powder, sugar in a Yogurt and mix well.

3) Transfer that in a serving bowl...Enjoy cold!

Chickpea's Salad



Chickpeas Salad, This is a healthy and quick salad..i love to enjoy this after coming from office as a snack..you can enjoy this along with food. Also best way to serve your children requirement for raw salad.You can change vegetable with your own taste like grated cucumber etc.

Here Comes the Recipe

Ingredients:
Serving 2 Person
2 Cup Boiled Chickpeas
½ Cup Cucumber chopped
                                                             ½ Cup onion chopped
                                                              ½ Cup Tomato chopped
½ tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Chaat Masala
½ tsp Sugar
1/2 tbsp lime juice
½ tsp Green chili chopped Optional
Chopped Cilantro
Salt and Pepper as Taste


Process:


1) In a bowl, mix together boiled chickpeas, cucumber, onions, tomato, lime juice, salt, pepper, cumin powder, sugar, chaat masala, green chili chopped, cilantro.

2) Serve cold and Enjoy!!

Boondi Raita



Boondi Raita, This is a perfect yogurt recipe to complete any meal in this hot summers and that too with the goodness of boondi. Also best way to serve curd with the variety. This is my families favrt raita recipe. 

Here comes the Recipe


Ingredients:

Serving 2 Person
2 Cup Curd/Yogurt
½ Cup Boondi
½ tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Chaat Masala
½ tsp Sugar
½ tsp Green Chili Paste
Chopped Cilantro
Salt and Pepper as Taste


Process:

1) Sieve yogurt with the help of big strainer. Add in boondi, salt, pepper, cumin powder, sugar, chaat masala, green chili paste,cilantro and mix well till well combined.

2) Serve cold and Enjoy!!

Masala Black Chana



Masala Black Chana, is a healthy and flavorful recipe. My mother used to make this for navratri puja. I prefer to eat this with the combination of halwa that i am going to share soon. Can be enjoyed with Tortilla, Indian Chapati.

Ingredients:

Serving: 2 Person

1 Cup Black Channa
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Dry Mango Powder
1 tbsp Gram Flour/ Besan
3 tbsp Oil
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Cumin Seeds


Process:

1) Soak Channa overnight and cook in presure cooker for 15 minutes till channa fully cooked. Heat the Oil in large skillet on medium high heat. Add in Cumin seeds and Besan. Stir till besan turns golden brown. 

2) Add in Salt, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Amchur. Stir well. Add in Channa and mix well. Cook for 5 minutes on simer heat with lid.

3) Serve hot..Enjoy!

Homemade Sprouts




Homemade Sprouts, That too very easy to make what i can say how healthy they are...as everybody knows. Just follow few simple steps and they are ready.

           Here comes the Recipe

               Ingredients:

 1 Cup Mong Dal
½ Cup Black Channa
Water to Soak 


Process:

1)   Take a big bowl and soak in mong dal and channa in water for 12 hours. Then remove the water and let them rest covered in the same bowl for 24 hours.

2)   In between wash the mixture with water for about 2-3 times in 24 hours and cover again without water. They are ready...

½ Cup Finely Chopped Celery
½ tsp Cumin Powder
½ tsp Chaat Masala
½ tsp Sugar
½ tsp Green Chili Paste
Chopped Cilantro
Salt and Pepper as Taste

Homemade Salsa



Homemade Salsa, the Chunky and Citrus Salsa. 


Ingredients:

Portion 1 Cup Salsa
¼ Cup Finely Chopped Onion
¼ Cup Finely Chopped Tomatoes
¼ Cup Finely Chopped Green Bell Pepper
¼ Cup Finely Chopped Yellow Bell Pepper
¼ tsp Finely Chopped Green Chili
½ tsp Lime Juice
¼ Cup Chopped Cilantro
Salt and Pepper as Taste


Process:

1) Mix Onion, Tomatoes, Green Bell Pepper, Yellow Bell Pepper, , Lime Juice, Cilantro, Green Chili, Salt and Pepper in a bowl until combined well.

2) Serve with Nacho's or over the slice of baguette...Enjoy!
